Summer Basketball Day Camp
Above the Rim Basketball School offers fun and exciting summer day camps for children and youth ages 7 to 12. These camps are run in conjunction with the City of Ottawa. Fundamental skills are taught by experienced instructors, and the learning experience is enhanced by drills and games.
What to Expect
- Five full days of fun and instruction in basketball fundamentals including shooting, ball handling, rebounds, passing, defence and team play.
- Competitions through game play, contests and tournament.
- Highly trained and experienced teachers and coaches.
- Players at the beginning, intermediate and competitive levels welcome!
- Players placed into groupings according to age and ability.
- All participants receive an Above the Rim t-shirt and a tournament ribbon.
- Pre-care and post-care available starting at 8:00 am and finishing at 5:00 pm.

Registration
Registration for Above the Rim Basketball School programs is done through the city of Ottawa (for Ottawa programs).
To register for any program in the city of Ottawa:
- In person, go to any client service centre.
- Online, go to The City of Ottawa Program Registration and enter barcode for your program.
- Telephone, call (613) 580-2588 and follow the prompts.
To register you will need the program barcode and an individual PIN number provided by the city. To register for any program in Kemptville, email atrottawa@gmail.com for registration information.
